Due to its booming economy, foreign investors have chosen to put 400 million dollars into Cape Verde’s tourist industry. One of the most important of them is Luxemburg. The country has financed the building of a hotel school that is a direct response to the increasing need for workers in this sector. It’s a true success story: 8 out of 10 diplomees find a job after their training.
We meet with some of the pastry chefs and receptionists on their way to their apprenticeship and focus on the purpose and the positive effects of this project.
